Started working with EARTH, AIR, FIRE and WATER…
none of which elements is solid, with the possible exception of Earth.
From there came the implication of
CONTAINMENT, MOTION, TIME and DISTRIBUTION.

Studied sculpture at de Ateliers, Haarlem (1979).

… worked with more forms like MASS, TIME & SPEED, DENSITY and PROXIMITY.
arriving at non-visible “thought forms” like IMAGE, SELF & OTHER.

In all these categories, there was no single independent significance which was not relative to some other equally arbitrary starting point.
